I saw the sign

I think I did. I hope this answers my problems, and somehow backs up my decision yet to be issued formally. I don’t want to rely on signs for I can always put meaning to it in whichever way I may want. But it’s just so hard pondering on which route to take, when the best thing to do isn’t the easiest one. So I’m taking this as a sign. My friendster horoscope for today (or for yesterday, dahil nga American time yata ang friendster).

Dahil nga sa office renovation, I lost the luxury of being on line sa YM, at ngayon lang ako ulit nakapag YM. Kaya ngayon ko lang sya nabasa. And I never heard about the "I LOVE U DAY". Now, looking back, the events predicted by the forwarded message above somewhat materialized for me that day. But of course, not knowing about and not having read this message, I was oblivious about things. And since hindi ko sya naforward which practically meant that I broke the chain, I guess I’ll have to suffer the consequence of it.

Or not. HIndi naman ako talaga naniniwala sa mga chain mails. Pero pumapatol din naman ako minsan, just to be safe. Pero reviewing the past week’s events, pwedeng oo…medyo nagkatotoo nga. (At ang mga prediction din ni Mareng Susan Miller ay nagkatotoo halos lahat). So baka it’s high time I take seriously the guidance of the planets and stars and the promises of forwards.

Isa pang maikli (What for?)

Ang dami kong gustong ikwento at gusto kong mag"loosen up" (ika nga sa isang thread sa aking org alumni egroup na aking sinusubaybayan). Magloosen up thru making kwento ‘yah know. Kaya lang I don’t have the time (a lot to do), and I don’t have the connection (nirerenovate ang aming office kaya we had to transfer to our recording studio na wala namang internet cables). At bibihira kong maabutan ang net cafe malapit sa aking nagmamagandang bahay.

My body clock gets cranky these days. Dati automatic yan, after five hours of sleep magigising at magigising ako. Pero ngayon sobrang erratic, minsan eight hours, minsan four hours. Tas may nanggigising pa sa akin ngayon. Bukod sa alarm tone kong si San Cai yelling "Putangina nyo Piggy Four!", may makulit na lagi na lang akong kinikiliti while sleeping. Yikee!

Lechetxt

I received this message from a normal, seven digit cell number (09219022565):

Hi! I’m Rita 22 mestiza frm cebu. Lukng 4 friends pero sawa n ko sa txtm8! Pakilala ka pls, send me a Voicetxt! Call me at *89909193890613 so I can hear ur voice

Nakakaleche ito. Bukod sa inaaksaya nya ang battery mo, inaaksaya pa nya ang memory ng phone mo, pati panahon mo. And what kind of publicity/promotion is this? A 22 year old girl na mestiza frm ceby wanting to be friends with you? I can’t help but think this is some sort of pambubugaw. I mean, if this Rita girl truly exists, it means she’s being used to promote this particular mobile services.

That may be jumping into conclusions agad. (Baka nga naman friendly lang itong si Rita at talagang sawa na sya sa texting lang). Notice pa na she gave a different phone number from that from which the message came from. Hay. Tsktsk.

This wasn’t the first time I got this type of text. Meron pang nagpapanggap na kaibigan mo na nagyayaya manood ng sine, kaya magtext ka daw ng ganitong message and send to this four digit number. Waaah! And when I try to call the number, para mang-away, "the number can not be completed as dialled" as the recording says. Kahit pa pagsasayang ng piso, nirereplayan ko itong mga ito ng "Hindi kita friend!" or "Ungas" or "Tantado ka hayup!" Wahahaha!

Somehow may instant excuse ako para mang-away sa text, for valid reasons, ng mga tao…or tao nga ba sila, who may or may not exist.

I’m BAAAAAACK BACK BLACK SHEEP (Have you any wool?)

Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Three bags fool.

I felt really cut off from the rest of the world these past weeks. Kase, out of kapraningan na someone might tamper on my friendster account at mangealam ng kung anu-ano, I changed my friendster email from yahoo to gmail, and also changed my passwords from the one I use for my yahoo account, to the one I use for gmail.

Friendster sent me a link through my gmail account for me to verify my new email address. Pero whenever I try to verify it by clicking the link, and logging in through my gmail add, ayaw nya! Waaah! But I still receive updates through my yahoo account. So sobra akong napraning. Baka mawalan na ako ng access to my friendster account forever and ever.

Until this morning, I tried the "Forgot your password?" button sa log in page, which sent me my email add and password information to yahoo (I figured na sa yahoo nya ipapadala kase dun ko natatanggap ang mga updates until now).

I found out na the site wasn’t able to actually change my email add. Yung password ko lang ang nabago. So my password for friendster now, is the password I use for my gmail, although ang email add for for friendster ay yahoo pa din. Weird thing lang, how come I received that verification notice through my gmail. Hay. Hanggulo. Hemingwaist, I’m back! Or nawala ba ako talaga?
